We decided early on not to worry about photographing the actual eclipse. We left that to the professionals. We decided to extend our coverage beyond our high school to nearby elementary schools to have more photo opportunities and to showcase how the district was using the eclipse as a learning opportunity. We also tried to anticipate the camera settings for each point during the viewing.
